Who We Are
IEWT was born from the meeting of two Italian visions that chose to live elsewhere — guided not by geography, but by wind.
What began as a friendship in adolescence evolved into a shared discipline shaped by art, the sea, and an uncompromising search for meaning. Today, that vision moves between the Atlantic islands. One rooted in the Caribbean. The other between the Canary Islands and the open ocean.
Travel is not escape.
It is alignment.
The sea is not scenery.
It is structure.
The Creator
At the core of IEWT stands Furio Canaglia.
Artist since childhood — painter, sculptor, musician — he did not discover symbolism later in life. It was always the language through which he understood the world.
Reserved. Introspective. Drawn to divinity, archetypes, and the unseen.
Every IEWT design begins by hand. Sketched. Studied. Refined. No templates. No artificial generation. No borrowed aesthetics. Only authorship shaped by years of artistic devotion.
The Villain.
Athena.
Prometheus.
The Oracle.
These are not graphics.
They are forces — fragments of a personal cosmology translated into wearable form.
For Furio, art is not decoration.
It is revelation.
The Structure
Alongside him stands Davide Tovo.
Raised between surfboards, sails, and wind-driven sport, Davide brings structure to vision and discipline to instinct. Where art explores depth, he builds direction.
The ocean is not backdrop — it is method.
Adrenaline is not chaos — it is precision.
Coming from a family tradition connected to symbolism and esoteric study, he developed an exacting attention to proportion, construction, and layered meaning.
Performance is not aesthetic.
It is architecture.
From this synthesis, IEWT emerged.
Not simply clothing — identity.
Not trend — language.
Not noise — structure.
Art and movement.
Symbol and action.
Depth and performance.
They do not follow culture.
They build it.
